India New Issue-LIC Housing Finance accepts bids for January 2026 bond reissue - bankers

MUMBAI, April 21 (Reuters) - India's LIC Housing Finance has accepted bids worth 10 billion rupees ($121.84 mln) for reissue of 7.82% January 2026 bonds, three merchant bankers said on Friday. The housing financier had invited bids from investors and bankers earlier in the day and sold these notes at 100.01 rupees apiece, they said.


The bonds are rated AAA by Crisil and the issue will be settled next week.


In March, LIC Housing Finance raised an aggregate of 7.50 billion rupees through reissue of 8.1432% March 2026 and 8.0250% March 2033 bonds at a yield of 8.10% and 8.00%, respectively. ($1 = 82.0725 Indian rupees) (Reporting by Dharamraj Dhutia and Bhakti Tambe; Editing by Dhanya Ann Thoppil)
