Sri Lankan shares end lower as industrials and financials weigh

April 21 (Reuters) - Sri Lankan shares closed lower on Friday dragged by industrial and financial sector stocks.



* The CSE All Share index fell 0.20% to 9,260.41, marking a fifth straight session of losses.


* Sri Lanka's consumer inflation dipped to 49.2% year-on-year in March, after a 53.6% rise in February, the statistics department said on Friday.
* Expolanka Holdings and Ceylinco Insurance were the top decliners on the CSE All Share index, down 2.2% and 6.4%, respectively.


* Trading volume for the CSE All Share index rose to 59.3 million shares from 42.9 million in the previous session.
* The equity market's turnover rose to 966.8 million Sri Lankan rupees ($3.04 million) from 933.5 million rupees in the previous session, according to exchange data.
* Foreign investors bought stocks worth 311.5 million rupees on a net a basis, while domestic investors were net sellers, offloading shares worth 883.3 million rupees, the data showed.
