BEIJING, April 26 (Reuters) - China's apparent steel
consumption in the first quarter of 2023 grew 1.9% year-on-year
to 243.42 million tonnes, the China Iron and Steel Association
(CISA) told a quarterly briefing on Wednesday.
China's crude steel output during the first three months of
the year rose 6.1% versus a year ago to 261.56 million tonnes,
according to National Bureau of Statistics data released earlier
this month.
