NAIROBI, April 26 (Reuters) - Kenya's shilling slipped lower against the dollar on Wednesday, as companies
required hard currency to meet end-month payments, while fuel
and merchandise importers also sought foreign exchange, traders
said.
At 0750 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at
135.60/80 per dollar, compared with 135.35/55 at Tuesday's
close.
The shilling has lost 9.1% of its value against the dollar
since the start of the year, hitting a fresh low on Tuesday.
