PUBLIC FINANCES


The government wants to gain more fiscal flexibility in the election year and is signalling changes to the spending rule and the budget deficit forecast, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna reports. EU FINANCES BARRIERS ON POLISH BORDERS


The European union has contributed over 600 million zloty in financing of the barriers Poland has constructed on its boarders with Belarus and the Kaliningrad Region, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna reports.
SANTANDER BANK POLSKA The bank has signed almost 3000 settlements with holders of Swiss franc loans in the first quarter, which cost the lender 186 million zloty compared to the 20 million zloty cost in the same period of the last year, Puls Biznesu reports.


LOWER GAS DEMAND Expectations of a lower demand for natural gas may indicate the some projects, including planned floating LNG terminal near Gdansk, may have to be reassessed, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna reports.
