Turkey - Factors to Watch on April 26

ISTANBUL, April 26 (Reuters) - Here are news, reports and events that may affect Turkish financial markets on Wednesday. The lira traded at 19.4210 against the dollar at 0423 GMT, unchanged from its close on Tuesday. The main BIST 100 share index closed 2.62% lower at 4,891.01 points on Tuesday.


GLOBAL MARKETS U.S. stock futures bounced as buybacks and earnings beats boosted tech giants in after-hours trade, although Asian shares wallowed at one-month lows on Wednesday, with investors turning nervous on the outlook for the world's two biggest economies.


OPPOSITION PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE Kemal Kilicdaroglu, presidential candidate of the main opposition alliance, will make speeches at election rallies in Afyonkarahisar (1000 GMT) and Nevsehir (1400 GMT).


TRANSPORT MINISTER Transport Minister Adil Karaismailoglu will speak at an opening ceremony for a high-speed train railway line opening ceremony in the central Turkish province of Sivas (1400 GMT).


SUDAN EVACUEES The first Turkish civilians evacuated from Sudan returned to Turkey on Wednesday, with more than 100 people arriving by plane at Istanbul Airport, Reuters footage showed.


BLACK SEA GRAIN DEAL Moscow has seen "practically no results" from a pact with the United Nations that aimed to help Russia's grain and fertilizer exports and blamed Western countries for creating a deadlock, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Tuesday.
