LONDON, April 26 (Reuters) - Britain sold 4.5 billion
pounds ($5.61 billion) of a new index-linked gilt maturing in
March 2045, the United Kingdom Debt Management Office said on
Wednesday, after a syndication process which attracted more than
40 billion pounds in orders.
The DMO said the bond with a coupon of 0.625% was priced at
99.403, giving a real yield of 0.6543%, 3.75 basis points above
the benchmark March 2044 index-linked gilt .
