NEWS Russia's refiners, keen to take advantage of good margins, have increased output and companies have exported more refined products despite an EU embargo and oil price cap, data cited by two industry sources showed, and two traders said. A rise in spot prices for Russian crude oil to above the $60 per barrel cap imposed by western powers has made ship insurers even more nervous of running foul of the rules as they are unable to independently track the value of cargoes, executives said. Josu Jon Imaz, the chief executive of Spanish oil company Repsol , on Thursday asked European Union authorities to put an end to imports of Russian oil products to the bloc through third destinations. Residual fuel oil stocks at key trading hub Singapore fell to four-week lows, with net imports easing by 19% after jumping last week, official data showed on Thursday.
