SINGAPORE, April 28 (Reuters) - PetroVietnam Gas has issued a buy tender seeking its first cargo of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to commission an import terminal in the country's southern province, said two sources on Friday.

The Thi Vai LNG Terminal in the Ba Ria Vung Tau province will supply two gas-fired power plants which are being built in neighbouring Dong Nai province.

The cargo is sought on a delivered ex-ship (DES) basis for delivery between June 1 to July 31, added the sources.

The tender will close on May 11.
