Baosteel: large firms to hold 65% share of Chinese market in 5 years, up from 43%

BEIJING, April 28 (Reuters) - China's biggest listed steelmaker, Baoshan Iron & Steel Co , said on Friday that it expected large firms would hold a 65% share of the market within five years, up from 43% currently.


The consolidation in the steel industry will accelerate in the coming three to five years, the firm told a briefing, following the release of its first-quarter report the previous day.
