BERLIN, April 28 (Reuters) - German import prices fell
more than expected in March, the statistics office said on
Friday.
Compared with the previous month, import prices fell by
1.1%. Analysts polled by Reuters had expected a monthly decline
of 0.9%.
On the year, import prices were down 3.8% versus
expectations of a 3.6% decrease, according to a Reuters poll of
analysts.
The statistics office offers more detailed economic data on
its website.
