SINGAPORE, April 28 (Reuters) - Middle East crude benchmark Dubai jumped in the last trading day of the month, helping to widen the backwardation in the Dubai market structure in April. The premium for front-month Dubai over the price for the third-month averaged $1.76 a barrel in April, up from $1.7 in March. That strengthening in the backwardation, or the structure when prompt prices are higher than for later delivery, suggests stronger demand for oil in the future.

OSP PREVIEW Top oil exporter Saudi Arabia may cut the price for its flagship Arab Light crude to Asia in June despite an extra output cut from OPEC+, as refiners hit by sliding fuel prices consider reducing output and China and India snap up cheap Russian crude. State oil giant Saudi Aramco may reduce the official selling price (OSP) for its medium sour crude by about 40 cents a barrel in June, according to five respondents surveyed by Reuters, following three months of price hikes.
