ISTANBUL, April 28 (Reuters) - Turkey's tourism revenues
surged 32.3% to $8.69 billion in the first quarter, Turkish
Statistical Institute data showed on Friday, maintaining last
year's strong trend despite February's devastating earthquakes
in the country's south.
In 2022, revenues climbed 53.4% from a year earlier to a
record high of $46.28 billion as lingering pandemic effects
dissipated and as the Ukraine war fallout drove a surge of
Russian arrivals.
