FRANKFURT, May 2 (Reuters) - The European Central Bank's
top supervisor Andrea Enria said on Tuesday he did not see
"compelling evidence" for extending an insurance on bank
deposits beyond its current threshold of 100,000 euros per
customer.
A debate on the matter has been fired up by a run on U.S.
lender Silicon Valley Bank in March, which has kicked off global
turmoil in the banking sector.
