BERLIN, May 2 (Reuters) - German Chancellor Olaf Scholz
on Tuesday said that inflation and energy prices had to be
brought down.
"We must push inflation down - we must fight it," Scholz
told members of his centre-left Social Democrats in Dresden.
"This is not a thing that just happens. I am very happy that
the ECB is pursuing restrictive monetary policy," he added.
