ANKARA, May 3 (Reuters) - Turkey's central bank said on
Wednesday that the massive earthquakes that hit the country's
south in February will not have a permanent impact on the
economy's performance in the medium-term.
In the minutes of last week's monetary policy committee
meeting, the central bank repeated that the recovery in economic
activity in the earthquake zone had been faster than expected
and that exports returned to pre-disaster levels in March, after
a dip in February.
