MADRID, May 4 (Reuters) - The number of people
registering as jobless in Spain fell by 2.58% in April from a
month earlier, or by 73,890, leaving a total of 2.79 million
people out of work, data from the Labour Ministry showed on
Thursday.
The total unemployment figure in April is the lowest for a
month of April since 2008 when it was 2.34 million people.
Spain gained 128,824 net formal jobs in April to 20.66
million jobs, a separate report from the Social Security
Ministry said.
