STOCKHOLM, May 4 (Reuters) - Activity in Sweden's
services sector rose in April from March with the purchasing
managers index (PMI) increasing to 50.5 points from an upwardly
revised 49.9 points the previous month, data by compilers
Silf/Swedbank showed on Thursday.
That took the index above the 50 point level that divides
expansion from contraction in the sector for the first time
since January.
The composite index of the service and manufacturing sectors
rose to 49.1 points from 48.7 points.
