May 8 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1945 GMT on Monday:


** Toronto-Dominion Bank's handling of "suspicious" customer transactions was behind regulators' refusal to approve the lender's $13.4 billion deal to buy First Horizon , the Wall Street Journal reported, citing people familiar with the matter.
** French shipping group CMA CGM has committed to buy the logistics operations of family-run conglomerate Bollore for an enterprise value of 5 billion euros ($5.5 billion), the two companies said.
** Baxter International Inc said a private-equity group, which includes Warburg Pincus and Advent International, has agreed to buy its biopharma solutions unit for $4.25 billion.
** Canaccord Genuity Group Inc's management-led group, which has offered to take the company private, gave no assurance of completing its C$1.13 billion ($850 million) deal due to delays in securing regulatory approvals.
** Brazilian petrochemical producer Braskem SA said its controlling shareholder Novonor has received a non-binding offer for the firm, which will now be "analyzed alongside other interested parties".
** HSBC has agreed to buy out its China fund management joint venture partner, two people familiar with the matter said, as the Asia-focused bank pushes ahead with expansion in the world's second-largest economy.
** Berkshire Hathaway, the investment company owned by Warren Buffett, has sold 1.96 million Hong Kong-listed shares of electric vehicle maker BYD for HK$462.09 million ($58.9 million), a stock exchange filing showed.
** German chemicals company Wacker Chemie said it has acquired 100% of the shares of contract manufacturing company ADL BioPharma.
** Qualcomm Inc said that it would acquire Israel's Autotalks Ltd, a maker of chips used in crash-prevention technology in vehicles, as the U.S. firm looks to expand its automotive-related business.
** Australian pension fund UniSuper said it paid A$1 billion ($677 million) for an indirect 5% stake in newly privatised European telecom masts business Vantage Towers , as it looks to expand infrastructure and private investments globally.
** Japan's Hamamatsu Photonics KK said that Danish authorities had rejected a European subsidiary's application to acquire Copenhagen-based fibre laser manufacturer NKT Photonics A/S from NKT A/S .
** A private equity consortium comprising Warburg Pincus and Advent International is in advanced talks to acquire medical device maker Baxter International Inc's biopharma solutions business in a deal that could reach or exceed $4 billion, people familiar with the matter said on Sunday.
** Warren Buffett said on Saturday that Berkshire Hathaway Inc is not planning to acquire Occidental Petroleum Corp but remains happy with its large investment in the oil company. (Compiled by Rajarshi Roy and Aditya Samal in Bengaluru)
