MEXICO CITY, May 8 (Reuters) - Mexican President Andres
Manuel Lopez Obrador said on Monday that Mexico would continue
to regard the U.S. dollar as the world's most important
currency.
"We are going to continue considering the dollar as the
world's principal currency. We have sufficient reasons to not
move to other currencies," Lopez Obrador said in a regular press
conference when asked if it would be a good idea to diversify
Mexico's foreign reserves to buffer against a weakening dollar.
