Spanish stocks - Factors to watch on May 8

May 8(Reuters) - The following Spanish stocks may be affected by newspaper reports and other factors on Monday. Reuters has not verified the newspaper reports, and cannot vouch for their accuracy:


GRIFOLS Grifols said on Monday its executive chairman Thomas Glanzmann will become its new chief executive with immediate effect, ending the founding family's executive leadership at a time of turmoil within the Spanish pharmaceutical group. FLUIDRA Fluidra said on Friday it had notified of the shareholders' agreement entered into between Schwarzsee and G3T over the proposal of Manuel Puig Rocha's appointment as proprietary director. ALMIRALL Spanish pharmaceutical firm Almirall on Monday reported first-quarter core earnings of 51.8 million euros ($57.2 million), beating analysts' estimates, helped by the growth of its European dermatology operations. Separately, the company said it would pay a scrip dividend of 0.184 euros gross per right. NH HOTEL GROUP NH Hotels said on Monday that its first-quarter net recurring loss narrowed to 40.0 million euros ($44.17 million) year-on-year.


CAIXABANK HSBC cut its target price to 3.8 euros from 4.4 euros. SABADELL HSBC cut its target price to 1.30 euros from 1.44 euros. For today's European market outlook double click on .
