Euro zone inflation momentum remains high -ECB's Schnabel

FRANKFURT, May 9 (Reuters) - Inflation momentum in the euro zone remains high for all items except energy and price pressures are broadening to most components in the consumption basket, ECB board member Isabel Schnabel said in a presentation on Tuesday.

While supply-side shocks from bottlenecks and energy prices continue to fade, the labour market is strong, wage growth is picking up and corporate profit margins are high, Schnabel said in slides accompanying a lecture.
