UPDATE 1-Greek EU-harmonised inflation eases to 4.5% y/y in April

(Adds details) May 10 (Reuters) - Greece's annual EU-harmonised inflation slowed to 4.5% in April from 5.4% in March, data from statistics service ELSTAT showed on Wednesday. EU-harmonised inflation is an index of components that is used across the EU to measure inflation in a consistent way. Prices for food and non-alcoholic drinks rose by 11.1%, with prices for accommodation and restaurants also up by 11.1%. The cost of housing dropped by 13.7%, the data showed. Month-on-month, consumer prices rose by 1.1%. ELSTAT gives a breakdown of the April figures on its website. Headline consumer inflation in April dropped to 3.0% from 4.6% in March.
