LONDON, May 11 (Reuters) - Bank of England Governor
Andrew Bailey said on Thursday he was not giving directional
steer on future interest rate decisions, adding that the central
bank will be guided by evidence.
"We are not giving directional steer on rates," Bailey said
at a press conference after the bank raised its key interest
rate. "We will be guided by the evidence and that's very
important."
