CSE All Share, rising 5.6% and 3.5%, respectively.
* Trading volume on the index rose to 45.4 million shares
from 17.9 million in the previous session.
* The equity market's turnover rose to 589.7 million Sri
Lankan rupees ($1.85 million) from 415.3 million rupees in the
previous session, according to exchange data.
* Foreign investors were net sellers, offloading stocks
worth 36.3 million rupees, while domestic investors were net
buyers, purchasing shares worth 575.3 million rupees, data
showed.
