MUMBAI, May 12 (Reuters) -
STOCKS:
The benchmark BSE Sensex rose 46.02 points, or 0.07%,
to 61,950.54, while the broader NSE index gained 5.6
points, or 0.03%, to 18,302.6, helped by gains in auto and
consumer stocks. RUPEE:
The Indian rupee weakened 0.08% to 82.17 versus the
U.S. dollar due to weak risk appetite. GOVERNMENT BONDS:
The benchmark 10-year bond was quoted at 101.59
rupees, with the yield up 1 bps at 7.0293%, as traders look to
debt supply and local inflation data due later in the day. OVERNIGHT INDEXED SWAPS:
The one-year overnight indexed swap rate was
unchanged at 6.58%, while the benchmark five-year swap rate rose 1 bps to 6.01%.
CALL MONEY/REPOS:
India's overnight call money rate was up 10 bps at
6.80%. The overnight TREPS rate was at 6.76%,
compared with the previous day's weighted average of 6.7596%.
