BEIJING, May 15 (Reuters) - China's Ministry of Natural Resources issued new rules to improve the management of prospecting and mining rights, it said in a statement on its website on Monday.

The move is part of efforts to ensure energy resources supply and promote the sustainability of the mining industry, it said. It will also streamline documentation for the application of mining rights registration.
