Canadian home sales rise 0.5% in March teaser image

OTTAWA, April 12 (Reuters) - Canadian home sales rose 0.5% in March from February, and were up 1.7% on an annual basis, data from the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) showed on Friday.

The industry group's Home Price Index edged down 0.3% on the month and was up 0.7% annually, while the national average selling price was up 2% on the year.
