Wall St opens muted, with spotlight on tech results teaser image

July 23 (Reuters) - Wall Street's main indexes were subdued at the open on Tuesday, amid a mixed bag of corporate results, as investors awaited Big Tech earnings from Alphabet and Tesla later in the day to assess if the market's recent record rally has momentum to spare.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average (.DJI), opens new tab rose 28.29 points, or 0.07%, at the open to 40,443.73. The S&P 500 (.SPX), opens new tab opened higher by 0.89 points, or 0.02%, at 5,565.30, while the Nasdaq Composite (.IXIC), opens new tab dropped 24.83 points, or 0.14%, to 17,982.74 at the opening bell.
