Canadian home sales down 0.7% in July, CREA data shows teaser image

OTTAWA, Aug 15 (Reuters) - Canadian home sales fell 0.7% in July from June, and rose 4.8% on an annual basis, data from the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) showed on Thursday.

The industry group's home price index edged up 0.2% on the month and fell 3.9% on an annual basis, while the national average selling price was almost unchanged for the year.
