Commodities boost TSX on final trading day of 2024 teaser image

Dec 31 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index rose in light trading on Tuesday, the final trading session of 2024, boosted by rising commodity prices.

At 9:30 a.m. ET (1430 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index (.GSPTSE), opens new tab gained 0.2% to 24,664.33 points.
