Feb 12 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened lower on Wednesday, hurt by industrial stocks, after a key U.S. inflation report slashed expectations of interest rate cuts by the Federal Reserve this year.
At 9:31 a.m. ET (1431 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index (.GSPTSE), was down 0.64% at 25466.82.
