Jan 14 (Reuters) - Minneapolis Federal Reserve ​President Neel Kashkari ‌said the Trump administration's actions against ‌the central bank ​in the past year ‍were "really about monetary policy," as he ⁠came ‍to the defense of ‌Fed ‌chair Jerome Powell.

Kashkari made the comments ⁠in ⁠an ​interview with the New York ‍Times published on Wednesday.
