Wall St opens higher on tariff relief teaser image

Jan 22 (Reuters) - U.S. stocks opened higher ​on Thursday, ‌inching toward all-time highs, after President Donald ‌Trump dialed back ​his threat of tariffs on ‍European countries, while fresh data pointed ⁠to a ‍resilient U.S. economy.

The Dow ‌Jones ‌Industrial Average (.DJI),  rose 0.81%. The S&P ⁠500 (.SPX),  ⁠rose ​0.70%, while the Nasdaq Composite (.IXIC), rose ‍0.97% at the opening bell.
