Impala Platinum said on Friday its refined platinum group metal (PGM) output was stable at 1.78 million ounces during the first half of its financial year, but revenue rose 40%, helped by firmer metal prices.
Prices of major PGMs have rebounded since the second half of 2025, driving Impala’s sales revenue to 33,250 rand ($2,092.08) per ounce during the six months to December 2025, from 23,831 rand an ounce in the prior period.
Impala said in a production update it remains on track to meet its annual production target of 3.4-3.6 million ounces.
The Johannesburg-based miner will publish its half-year financial results on March 5.
