TSX opens lower as gold slips; investors assess inflation data teaser image

Feb 17 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened lower on Tuesday, dragged down by mining shares after a pullback in precious metals, while investors assessed January inflation data.

At 09:33 a.m. ET, the S&P/TSX Composite Index (.GSPTSE), opens new tab was down 0.68% at 32,849.87 points.
