API shows weekly rise in US crude stocks, fuel inventories fall, sources say teaser image

HOUSTON, March 17 (Reuters) - U.S. crude stocks ​rose last week ‌while fuel inventories fell, market sources ​said, citing ​American Petroleum Institute figures ⁠on Tuesday.

Crude ​stocks rose by ​6.56 million barrels in the week ended ​March 13, ​the sources said on condition ‌of ⁠anonymity. Gasoline inventories fell by 4.56 million ​barrels, ​while ⁠distillate inventories fell by 1.39 ​million barrels ​from ⁠a week earlier, the sources ⁠said.
