March 17 (Reuters) - Canada's benchmark index ​opened higher on ‌Tuesday on gains across ​sectors, ​with miners and financials ⁠in ​the lead, while ​investors awaited key central bank ​decisions for ​clues on monetary ‌policy ⁠outlook in Canada and the U.S.

At ​9:32 ​a.m. ⁠ET, the S&P/TSX ​composite index (.GSPTSE), opens new tab ​was ⁠up 0.8% at 33,130.48 ⁠points.
