UK records 16.7 billion pound budget deficit in February

LONDON, March 21 (Reuters) - Britain recorded a budget deficit of 16.68 billion pounds ($20.4 billion) in February, the Office for National Statistics said on Tuesday. A Reuters poll of economists had pointed to public sector net borrowing, excluding state-owned banks, of 11.4 billion pounds.
