SEOUL, April 21 (Reuters) - South Korea's exports for
the first 20 days of April fell 11.0% from the same period a
year earlier, dragged down by China-bound shipments, customs
agency data showed on Friday.
Sales to China fell 26.8%, while those to the United States
and European Union rose by 1.4% and 13.9%, respectively.
By product, semiconductor exports dropped 39.3%, petroleum
products declined 25.3%, but cars jumped 58.1%.
The country's imports fell 11.8%, bringing the trade balance
to a deficit of $4.14 billion.
