KUALA LUMPUR, May 12 (Reuters) - Malaysia's current
account surplus narrowed to 4.3 billion ringgit
($969.56 million) in the first quarter, from a revised 27.5
billion ringgit in the October-December period, the Department
of Statistics said on Friday.
Portfolio investment saw a net outflow of 33.3
billion ringgit in the first quarter, compared to a net outflow
of 26.7 billion ringgit in the previous quarter.
