Romania's current account deficit at 5.00 bln euros in Jan-March - cenbank

May 15 (Reuters) - Romania's three-month current account deficit fell on the year to 5.00 billion euros ($5.50 billion) in January-March, central bank data showed on Monday. Foreign direct investment was 2.59 billion euros, compared with 2.89 billion euros in the same period of last year. Long-term external debt rose 9.8% against end-2022 to 107.27 billion euros.
