My September 17, 2026 read keeps Bitcoin’s consolidation, the unconfirmed OTHERS.D breakout trigger and the DXY reversal setup separate while checking the broader risk picture after the Fed decision.
Bitcoin stays in bearish consolidation

Bitcoin daily Binance chart
BTC remains inside the daily TBO Cloud in “bearish consolidation” and still closed green after the Fed confirmed a 25 bps rate hike to 4%. It failed to close above the 0.786 Fib, while the other indicators were largely unchanged.
Ethereum confirms its bearish divergence

Ethereum daily Binance chart
ETH confirmed its TBT Bearish Divergence on Wednesday and closed inside the Cloud, remaining in bearish consolidation. It still has roughly 8% to fall before tagging the next support fan line, so that support test is not expected immediately.
OTHERS dominance tests the pivotal trigger

OTHERS dominance daily CRYPTOCAP chart
OTHERS.D closed up 2.56% and wicked into immediate TBO Resistance. A close above that resistance would create the major strong-bullish uptrend state I am watching; it is not confirmed yet. If the move plays out, I see runway toward just over 9%, but I would take profit on the way up and respect the four-year downtrend. Dominance is market share, not spot price.
DXY strength meets reversal conditions

U.S. Dollar Index daily TVC chart
DXY rose nearly 1% on the Fed decision and moved above its Cloud into strong bullish mode. It also reached historical TBO Resistance, pushed RSI above 70 and approached a short-term support level expected to act as resistance. Those three conditions make a reversal lower likely in my view, which would help currency pairs, stocks and crypto.
S&P futures keep the dip-buying thesis

S&P 500 E-mini Futures daily CME chart
S&P futures remain technically in bearish consolidation. I still treat dips as buys through year end and expect the S&P above 8,000 before then. That is my broader thesis, not a claim that the current bearish-consolidation label disappeared.
Oil confirms a bearish RSI Reset

Light Crude Oil Futures daily NYMEX chart
Crude oil futures ended their extreme overbought RSI streak and confirmed a bearish RSI Reset. I expect oil to fall, though it could take a few days; the TBO Breakout Cluster at the top is the key warning rather than proof of an immediate drop.
