Bullish crypto trends meet profit-taking signals teaser image

My September 25, 2026 read separates bullish crypto trends from conditional profit-taking signals.

Bitcoin’s bullish trend has more than one Fibonacci map

BTC remains above its daily TBO Cloud, with all four lines curling or pointing upward, so the trend remains strong bullish. On my 2026 Fibonacci map, the next upside target is $91,374. A separate retracement from the October 2025 top to the July bottom shows BTC has not yet reclaimed the 0.5 level at $85,407; above that, the 0.618 level is $93,650. Those levels come from different ranges and should not be merged into one sequence. A sudden pullback to the Fast line remains possible. ETH also remains strong bullish after a larger Thursday dip. It tested the short-term 1.272 extension on Monday and was rejected; a close above would be significant, not something already confirmed. Its weekly RSI is currently 78.83, and I still regard the macro picture as very strong bullish while allowing for a pullback.

Stablecoin dominance is bearish, but the weekly warning matters

Combined stablecoin dominance remains strong bearish. Lower lows on the chart and higher lows on RSI show what I call hidden bullish divergence, but the chart can keep falling; the daily Slow line is still sloping down. The weekly chart has an unfulfilled TBO Close Long that would equate to a severe crypto-market pullback, but it need not happen immediately. Weekly RSI is currently 26.32. If it drops below 25, I am certain we are near a short-term top; that threshold has not yet been reached in this reading. This is my market interpretation, not a guaranteed outcome. Dominance is market share, not stablecoin spot price.

ALT dominance rises, with a conditional profit-taking zone

OTHERS.D closed up 2% on Thursday but remains below TBO Resistance. Once it pushes above resistance and gets closer to 9%, I want to take more profit out of existing positions to prepare for a pullback. In November and December 2024, OTHERS.D moved from 8.90% to above 12% and repeatedly wicked into long-term overhead resistance. I expect a similar opportunity this time at a lower percentage target of 9%, but there is zero guarantee it will close above the long-term line in place since 2022. The plan is to take profits when or if the move happens; the trigger is not here yet. TOTALE100.D remains in bullish consolidation inside its Cloud; still early, but I like how it looks.

The OTHERS market-cap opportunity is not yet confirmed

OTHERS market cap looks good but continues to struggle with long-term overhead resistance. A close above that line could matter substantially. The weekly comparison with October 2023 is striking, yet the current bear-market timing is very different. The last several weekly closes above $317 billion marked market tops in the comparison I highlighted. That is historical context, not a current $317 billion reading or an automatic trading rule. I still believe ALTs may have much further to run, but many things must be confirmed first. This dollar market-cap chart is distinct from OTHERS.D and its 9% dominance watch.

The dollar approaches resistance while broader markets stay mixed

DXY pushed higher on Thursday and nearly wicked into TBO Resistance at 101.430. RSI has remained overbought for seven confirmed bars. EURUSD remains at historical TBO Support with RSI moving lower. USDJPY closed above 159; a red daily close would confirm a bearish RSI Reset, so the reset is still conditional. I see TradFi generally in good shape, and the modest VIX rise does not concern me much. That does not apply equally to every regional chart: Shanghai remains bearish and struggles with resistance, Hang Seng is very strong bearish, while KOSPI holds above the 0.5 Fibonacci level.

Separate completed Springboard Bounces from early moves

WLD / TetherUS · 1D · Binance

WLD had a good initial bounce off the Fast line but has not completed a TBO Springboard Bounce. That is the setup I am watching, not a completed signal or a new numerical trade plan. I am not giving an entry, stop or target on WLD yet. LINK and LDO have completed their Springboard Bounces; POL had a good bounce but not a completed Springboard, CRO is setting up, and TWT is about to complete one. Those stages are not interchangeable. Elsewhere, LTC rose 16% and closed above the 0.236 Fibonacci level, while INJ printed a third TBO Breakout on Thursday and wicked above the 0.382 level. A wick above is not a confirmed close above.
