Britain's FTSE 100 index is seen opening higher with futures up 0.11% on Wednesday
* ITV STUDIOS: Hollywood producer Peter Chernin and French TV production group Banijay's parent have expressed interest in ITV's Studios.
* VODAFONE: Vodafone shareholders will look for two things from interim CEO Margherita Della Valle at her first results presentation on Wednesday - plans to arrest immediate problems in markets like Germany, and any hint of long-term plans that could land her the top job permanently.
* ASDA SUPERMARKET: A consortium including Hydrogen truck startup HVS and Asda said it had been awarded a 6.6 mln pound ($8.1 mln) UK government grant to develop autonomous hydrogen heavy goods vehicles.
* DARKTRACE: Darktrace shares plunged as much as 10% after a short-selling fund questioned the company's financial statements.
* ENVIRONMENT AGENCY WORKERS STRIKE: Thousands of staff at Britain's Environment Agency will go on strike on Feb. 8 in a dispute over pay.
* STRIKE: Around 1,000 British Border Force officers at English Channel ports will join a wave of industrial action and go on strike next month.
* OIL: Oil prices rose as signs of slowing inflation in the US eased fears that the world's largest oil user may face a recession because of further interest rate hikes.
