ISTANBUL, April 12 (Reuters) - Here are news, reports and events that may affect Turkish financial markets on Wednesday. The lira traded at 19.2925 against the dollar early on Wednesday, unchanged from its close on Tuesday. The main BIST 100 share index closed 0.63% higher at 5,124.25 points on Tuesday.


GLOBAL MARKETS Asian equities inched lower on Wednesday ahead of a crucial U.S. inflation report that will likely influence the Federal Reserve's monetary policy path, with markets wagering another hike in interest rates at the central bank's next meeting.


ERDOGAN SCHEDULE President Tayyip Erdogan will attend the opening of subway line in Ankara (1200 GMT).


ELECTION CAMPAIGN Erdogan launched his re-election campaign on Tuesday with a party pledge to slash inflation to single digits and boost growth, as he seeks to extend his two decades in power in a May 14 vote.


IRAQ Iraq has petitioned a U.S. federal court to enforce an arbitration award against Turkey related to Iraqi oil exports through a pipeline to a Turkish port, according to documents filed with the court.


BLACK SEA GRAIN DEAL No ships were inspected on Tuesday under the Ukraine Black Sea grain deal "as the parties needed more time to reach an agreement on operational priorities," the United Nations said, adding that routine inspections were due to resume on Wednesday.
