LONDON, April 21 (Reuters) - Benchmark Northwest European diesel barge refining margins were broadly steady at about $13.50 a barrel on Friday, their lowest since late Feb. 2022, weighed down by high imports, while regional stocks were little changed.
* Gasoil inventories held in independent storage in the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) refining and storage area were little changed in the week to Thursday at 2.36 million tonnes, data from Dutch consultancy Insights Global showed on Thursday.
* Gasoil demand along the Rhine was slightly lower but inland refinery maintenance kept product heading to southwest Germany, Insights Global's Lars van Wageningen said.
* High import levels have been keeping diesel margins under pressure, van Wageningen said.

* European diesel imports are set to reach 6.59 million tonnes in April, up from the revised 6.11 million tonnes that arrived in March, Refinitiv data showed.
* Turkey remains the top destination for Russian diesel exports after an embargo on shipments to Europe forced traders to divert supplies to Asia, Africa, the Middle East and ship-to-ship (STS) loadings, traders said and Refinitiv Eikon data showed.
* China may cut quotas for refined oil products exports in a second batch for 2023 as domestic demand improves while the need to boost its economy through oil products abates, a Reuters survey showed.
* The small diesel-producing hydrocracker at Valero Energy Corp's 335,000 barrel-per-day (bpd) Port Arthur, Texas, refinery may be shut for two months of repairs, said people familiar with plant operations on Thursday. Trades Bids Offers Previous Seller Buyer Session
