(Kitco News) - Silver X Mining (TSX-V: AGX) today announced the resumption of operations at its Tangana mining project, located in Huancavelica, Peru, after concluding the incident review.
The company said that all the project safety protocols have been validated before the restart of the operations.
Earlier on September 23, the company reported that a fatal incident occurred at Tangana when a worker of contractor Minera Tangana SAC was fatally injured, with initial information indicating that potentially a rock fall was involved.
Silver X is a Canadian silver mining company with assets in Peru. The company’s flagship asset is the Tangana silver, gold, lead, zinc and copper project, located in Huancavelica, Peru, 10 km north-northwest of the Nueva Recuperada polymetallic concentrate plant.
