(Kitco News) - Artemis Gold (TSX-V: ARTG) announced today that the company has fulfilled all EA conditions required to commence site preparation work at the plant site for the Blackwater gold project.

The company said it has commenced early works including site clearing, bulk earthworks and sediment/erosion control works to prepare the Blackwater plant site for the start of major works construction activities in Q1 2023.

“This plant site preparation activities is another opportunity to derisk the start of major construction activities in Q1 2023 following receipt of the final BC Mines Act Permits in Fall 2022.”

Artemis Gold noted it is advancing to construction the Blackwater gold project in central BC, Canada, a project with 10+ million ounces of gold in resources, environmental assessment approval and the potential to develop into one of the largest gold mines in Canada with cash costs in the lower quartile of global producers.
