May 22 (Reuters) - The U.S. Federal ​Reserve on Friday ‌said Kevin Warsh had ​taken the ​oath of office as ⁠chairman ​and member of ​the Board of Governors, and that ​its ​interest-rate-setting Federal Open Market ‌Committee ⁠had unanimously selected him as its ​chairman.

Warsh ​earlier ⁠on Friday was sworn ​into office ​at ⁠the White House by ⁠President ​Donald Trump.
